New research published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition says that
drinking three or more cups of tea a day is as good for you as drinking plenty
of water. In addition to hydrating the body, tea is believed to protected
against some forms of cancer. It is also believed that tea reduces the chance of
heart disease.
Tea is the agricultural product of the leaves, leaf buds, and internodes of the
Camellia sinensis plant. After water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage
in the world. There are at least six varieties of tea: white, yellow, green,
oolong, black and pu-erh. |
